An unforgettable tour unfolded against the backdrop of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica—a night that perfectly aligned with the stars and teemed with remarkable animal activity. The visitors hailed from the Netherlands, and the two families forged a lively camaraderie on the tour. Their curiosity was piqued by the desire to witness spiders and snakes while also delving into the names and natural histories of each creature, making them exceptional guests. During our expedition, we were fortunate to cross paths with two serpents: a slender vine snake and a garden boa. Remarkably, this was the second encounter with the latter species on the property. As if that wasn’t enough, the sight of slumbering birds added another layer to the spectacle, enhancing the overall experience.
