During a recent family tour with guests from the United States, excitement was palpable as we ventured into the rich ecosystems of Manuel Antonio National Park. We were fortunate to observe two types of squirrel monkeys, charismatic white-faced capuchins, colorful toucans, and not one, but both species of sloths thriving in their natural habitat. Particularly noteworthy is the increasing sightings of sloths, which were once a rare gem in these parts. These gentle creatures have become a more common and delightful highlight, especially during our nocturnal tours. This resurgence is a testament to the thriving biodiversity of the park, promising unforgettable encounters with nature’s marvels.
