Enchanting Afternoon with Rare Wildlife Sightings in Manuel Antonio

Our afternoon tour at Manuel Antonio National Park turned into an enchanting experience as our guests, brimming with excitement, discovered the park’s hidden wildlife treasures. We observed the striking toucans, their vivid colors a contrast against the green, as they keenly watched a female Black-throated Trogon. Fascinatingly, the name “trogon” comes from Greek, meaning “to gnaw,” referring to their unique nesting habits of nibbling at wood or termite mounds to prepare their homes. The tour reached an exhilarating conclusion with the sighting of a tamandua. This lesser-known anteater, with its distinctive markings and gentle demeanor, captivated everyone, leaving us all spellbound by the wonders of nature.
