Today’s tour was graced with the presence of visitors from Europe, and the wildlife of Manuel Antonio National Park did not disappoint, presenting a continuous display from start to finish. Serpents, a common sight along our trails, slithered by nonchalantly. The two-toed sloths were spotted in their tranquil hangouts, while amorous frogs were seen in amplexus. We encountered toads, basked in the intimidating glare of caimans, and observed the cunning of foxes. The night’s star was the highly active kinkajou, observed in the midst of their breeding season; we even managed to capture a video of two engaged in their mating ritual. Our journey concluded with the sighting of a scorpion, a fitting end to a night of exhilarating encounters.
